Erik Bustillo

Erik Bustillo, son of Cuban-Colombian immigrants, is a Registered Dietitian who graduated from FIU (FL). He holds certifications from the ISSN, NCSF CSC, CrossFit level 1 trainer, and personal trainer. Erik also excels at interpreting blood/lab values related to human physiology and performance. His expertise spans energy enhancement, recovery, weight loss, working with elite athletes, stress management, and motivational communication.

A renowned speaker, Erik collaborates with military groups and focuses on education through lecturing for sports teams, universities, tactical athlete groups, and mentoring dietitians and coaches.

Erik's experience includes clinical research and medical nutrition therapy. As a test subject and research assistant, he contributes to scientific knowledge. His specialization is in lifestyle and performance nutrition, with a focus on sports nutrition, coaching, supplementation, and motivation.

Mike Osuna

In eighth grade, Mike began his sports career as a wrestler. In high school, he excelled in wrestling and football, earning a full scholarship to the University of Central Florida, where he played Defensive End. He then played in the Arena Football League for four years, winning a championship with the Orlando Predators in 2001.

Mike has participated in CrossFit competitions, including the 2010 CrossFit Regionals, and helped coach 2011 CrossFit Games qualifier CrossFit Vida Brickell. A pioneer of South Florida's CrossFit movement, he co-founded I Am CrossFit in 2008 and opened six locations. Mike also created the Crush Games, a national fitness competition, and launched Formulx supplements, known for all-natural, grass-fed whey protein. He researches and attends fitness and nutrition conferences across the country.

Mike has been a firefighter/paramedic for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue for 11 years and was recently promoted to Driver Engineer.

Robert Silver

A former CrossFit Games competitor, Rob left competitive fitness to obtain his Master's Degree in Strength & Conditioning.

He spent two full seasons under longtime U. of Miami Strength Coach Andreu Swasey as a Graduate Strength Coach training the Hurricanes Football, Track & Field, Volleyball and Tennis teams. In the process, he had the luck of working with over 30 future NFL players.

After leaving The U, Rob has worked behind the scenes in the fitness industry, building online courses, certifications, and has lectured nationally on Strength & Conditioning and Personal Training. 

As an Associate Director for the National Council on Strength & Fitness, he spearheads course development,  certification management, and developing marketing strategies.

He has been creating workout programs for Competitive Exercisers, Athletes, and general population clients every week since 2010 when he took over I Am CrossFit's programming team.
